CTC offers state-of-the-art technology to homes and businesses in Central Minnesota. With our fiber optic network, CTC can offer our members fast and reliable internet, phone, and TV services along with business phone systems and IT services. CTC’s unique history and commitment to the areas we serve is what makes us an ideal choice for your technology needs.
On May 19th, 1950 seven men gathered for the first official meeting of the Crow Wing Cooperative Rural Telephone Company, later known as Consolidated Telephone Company. After obtaining personal loans, the seven directors started selling memberships to residents as part of the new cooperative.
Today, CTC continues to set the standard in telecommunications for the Brainerd Lakes Area and beyond. We strive to improve and expand our service areas by delivering state-of-the-art internet, TV, and phone services. As our rural communities rely on higher speeds and more reliable internet services for communication, entertainment, and conducting business, CTC remains committed to current and future demands.
As a technology services advisor, we partner with organizations and communities throughout the nation. We work with utilities, municipalities, and government entities by assisting with system infrastructure and relationships to build the best fiber and wireless networks.
With offices in Brainerd, Baxter, Crosby, and Mountain Iron, CTC’s members will always have the hometown support they’ve grown accustomed to over the past 50+ years. As a cooperative, CTC is owned by our members, guided by our board of directors, and driven by our mission…
To empower our members, employees, and communities through exceptional service and life changing technology solutions for a sustainable future.
Through technology leadership, smart growth, and community engagement, our cooperative will demonstrate extraordinary focus to positively transform those we serve.
