CTC started in 1950, determined to provide convenient and reliable communication for our community. Today, CTC continues to set the standard in telecommunications for the Brainerd Lakes Area and beyond, while still striving to improve and expand our service areas by delivering state-of-the-art internet, TV, and phone services.

As a cooperative, CTC is owned by our members, guided by our Board of Directors, and driven by our mission to empower our members, employees, and communities through exceptional service and life-changing technology solutions for a sustainable future.

CTC’s service area continues to expand in a BIG way. As a technology service advisor, we partner with organizations and communities throughout the nation. We work with utilities, municipalities, and government entities by offering technical expertise, system infrastructure, and leadership to build state-of-the-art fiber and wireless networks.

Working at CTC means having fun! From go-karts, bumper cars, and minigolf to parades and pontoon rides, CTC offers a multitude of fun optional activities. With frequent golfing events giving you a chance to play tournaments with our team, company movie nights for employees and their families, and catered events with some of the best restaurants in the area, there’s never a dull moment.

Service Assurance Technician

The primary responsibility of the Service Assurance Technician (SAT) is to respond to customers who are experiencing trouble with voice, data, or video services. Provides escalated repair resolution for the customer. Creates and maintains all trouble record information based on customer reports. Generation of internal and external reporting to monitor trouble tickets. Assist CTC customers with “after-hours” repair calls; evaluate the trouble and dispatch appropriate on-call personnel.
