CTC CEO/GM Kristi Westbrock has been named to the Board of Directors of USTelecom – The Broadband Association.
USTelecom is a national association representing broadband providers that build and operate the communications networks connecting communities across the country.
Westbrock brings extensive experience leading CTC, a Minnesota-based broadband cooperative, to the Board, offering a rural provider’s perspective on the broadband industry. She will help inform USTelecom’s work to expand connectivity, strengthen rural broadband infrastructure, and advance policies that support continued investment in broadband networks.
Westbrock also serves as Secretary of USTelecom’s Leadership Committee.
“I am incredibly honored and excited to join the USTelecom Board. Our industry is at an important moment, and meaningful progress will take all of us working together. I look forward to collaborating with leaders from across the broadband industry to advocate for the changes we need, strengthen the networks and communities we serve, and help shape a strong future for connectivity across America,” Westbrock said. Westbrock’s appointment brings CTC’s rural broadband perspective to national industry discussions and highlights the role locally focused providers play in expanding and maintaining connectivity in rural areas.
