CTC Partners with ‘Bark’ to Promote Online Safety for Families
BAXTER, MN – CTC is proud to announce its partnership with the product, Bark, an app that will allow families to feel safe and secure regarding their child’s online social presence.
Bark is an app that helps parents monitor their children’s smartphone activity for potential issues such as cyberbullying, suicidal ideation, online predators, threats of violence, and more. If a concern is detected, parents will receive an alert. When Bark generates the alert, it also provides parents with recommendations on how to talk to their children about the issue.
“CTC cares about our communities. The safety and well-being of our children is at the top of our priority list,” said CTC CEO/GM Kristi Westbrock. “This product will help safeguard families. It will also provide parents the opportunity to play an active role in their child’s online presence, while still allowing their children to be independent.”
CTC is offering members the opportunity to try Bark for free for two months. After that, the product will be $11.95 per month. More information can be viewed at goctc.com/bark.
