Final Notice Policy

NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) checks and unpaid CTC accounts require careful monitoring to ensure all customers receive fair and consistent treatment. we value our members and are willing to offer those facing an emergency situation.

If you’re facing an emergency and can’t pay your bill in full, contact our office and we’ll arrange a payment schedule. You are billed one month in advance for services, and CTC has established the following payment policies to manage these situations:

CTC operates on two billing cycles:

Cycle 1: Bills are received on the 1st of the month, and payments are due by the 12th.

Cycle 2: Bills are received on the 12th of the month, and payments are due by the 24th.

If payment isn’t received by the time the next bill is issued, the balance will be included in the current month’s statement. If the bill remains unpaid for two months by the due date, a final notice will be issued. At this point, a $10 late fee will be incurred. This notice will inform you that if full payment isn’t made, services will be disconnected within five business days. *

After 10 days of non-payment following disconnection, the account will be permanently closed. This includes removing the number from the directory, closing the account, and transferring the balance to a collection agency.

If the account is permanently disconnected, CTC will bill the member for unreturned equipment – which must be returned within 30 days.

To reconnect service later, the customer must pay the outstanding balance, a reconnection fee, and a deposit equivalent to approximately one month’s service fees.

NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) Check Policy:

Any NSF check must be paid in full within five business days to avoid service disconnection. Paying a final notice with an NSF check will result in immediate disconnection.

A $30 fee is applied for each NSF check or recurring credit card payment. After two NSF checks, CTC will no longer accept check payments.

*Should this occur, a reconnection fee will be assessed and due at the time of payment.
