Many channels have been restored with some exceptions. This page will continue to be updated until the issue has been resolved.
Several of our TV channels are currently experiencing an outage. The cause is being investigated and updates can be found on this page. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Whether it’s a scheduled maintenance, infrastructure damage due to storms, or an unforeseen outage, CTC remains committed to providing reliable internet, TV, and phone services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We will post information and updates on this page if a scheduled maintenance and/or outage affects more than 50 members and is determined to be “severe” (more substantial than intermittent service interruptions).
When there is a substantial interruption to service, we will do our best to post updates and communicate the timeframe for when we expect services to be restored.
Internet outages are different than electricity or other utility service interruptions. It’s harder to predict when service will be restored because the systems and equipment used are more complex and variable.
We appreciate your patience as we work to keep our CTC services up and running!
Sometimes what seems like an outage may be caused by equipment failure or glitches. Below are links to several helpful support articles.
If you suspect that your equipment may be the culprit, please give our local Support Team a call at 218-454-1234 or submit an online request here.
The equipment that provides your TV and/or internet service is powered by electricity. So if you’re experiencing a power outage, your internet and/or TV service will be affected as well, unless you have a generator or alternative source of power for your home, apartment, or business.
Here are a few tips to prepare for outages, prior to a storm or weather-related incident:
