HPBX Call Transfer

Directions

Transfer enables you to transfer an active call to another extension or telephone number.

To transfer an active call

1. Press the transfer of XFER softkey
2. Dial the extension or telephone number to which you want to transfer the call to just like you would normally dial the number.
3. If the called party answers, you may talk privately with them. To finish the transfer, press the transfer/XFER softkey
4. To cancel the transfer and return to the holding party, press the flashing red line button.

To transfer directly to Voice Mail

1. Press the Transfer/XFER softkey
2. Dial # then extension you wish to call
3. To finish the transfer, press the transfer/XFER softkey
